• W2795958512 abstract "Abstrack: Low birth weight (LBW) is defined as a birth weight less than 2,500 grams. Low birth weight increases the risk of death 20 times greater than normal birth weight. LBW will increase risk and complications at birth, disruption of growth and poor cognitive development. Factors that may affect the LBW include maternal age, education, maternal anemia, antenatal care, parity, spacing pregnancies, pregnancy history, and social economy.  Research is aimed to assess the relationship between characteristics of pregnant women in terms of age, parity, gestational age, and maternal anemia with the incidence of LBW in the General Hospital of Alihsan Bandung in 2015.This study uses an analytical observational with case control study as the research design. The number of samples specified in the study was 156 samples, with 78 samples lbw and 78 samples of non lbw. This data is processed using chi square statistic test.From the test results were obtained variable data between maternal age with the incidence of LBW with p = 0.890 (p-value> 0.05), the data between parity with the incidence of low birth weight with, p = 1.000 (p-value> 0.05), whereas  the incidence of  gestational age with low birth weight with p = 0.001 (value p≤0,05) and anemia in mothers with LBW with p = 0.018 (value p≤0,05). The conclusion is, there’s a relationship between gestational age and maternal anemia with the incidence of low birth weight. Abstrak: Berat bayi lahir rendah (BBLR) didefinisikan sebagai berat saat lahir kurang dari 2.500 gram. Berat Bayi Lahir Rendah meningkatkan risiko kematian 20 kali lebih besar dibandingkan dengan berat badan lahir normal. Berat Bayi Lahir Rendah juga dapat mengalami masalah atau komplikasi saat lahir, gangguan terhadap tumbuh kembang dan perkembangan kognitif yang kurang baik . Faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi BBLR antara lain umur ibu, pendidikan, maternal anemia, antenatal care , paritas, jarak kehamilan, riwayat kehamilan,  dan sosial ekonomi.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai hubungan antara karakteristik ibu hamil ditinjau dari usia, paritas, usia kehamilan, dan anemia ibu dengan angka kejadian BBLR di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Alihsan Bandung tahun 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik observasional dengan rancangan penelitian case control study . Jumlah sampel yang ditentukan pada penelitian adalah 156 sampel, dengan 78 sampel BBLR dan 78 sampel non BBLR. Data ini diolah menggunakan uji statistic chi square . Dari hasil uji penelitian diperoleh data variabel antara usia ibu dengan angka kejadian BBLR yaitu p=0,890 (nilai p>0,05), data antara paritas dengan angka kejadian BBLR yaitu p=1,000 (nilai p>0,05) sementara angka kejadian BBLR adalah usia kehamilan dengan p = 0,001 (nilai p≤0,05) dan anemia pada ibu dengan angka kejadian BBLR dengan p =0,018 (nilai p≤0,05). Kesimpulan yang didapat adalah terdapat hubungan antara usia kehamilan dan anemia pada ibu dengan angka kejadian BBLR." @default.
