- W2797179157 abstract "In recent years, knowledge management has attracted a great deal of attention in all communities, as one of the most cost-effective and efficient management tools in business. Thus, researchers have tried to propose knowledge management models which guarantee success in the implementation of knowledge management in organizations. This paper provides a comprehensive knowledge management (KM) model according to previous models. To achieve the goal of this study, the first step will analyze around thirty provided knowledge management models and frameworks which presented from 1994 by Nonaka and Takeuchi as one of the famous KM models. Considering the knowledge management models analyses criteria, significant strengths and weaknesses of these models are identified. In the second step, the elements of these models are separated and similar factors of these models categorized which led to explore two kinds of knowledge management categories with a wide spectrum of views from scientific to social oriented. The elements of these models are classified to five main layers (1) Primary actions, (2) Knowledge management activities, (3) Knowledge management influences, (4) Data, information, and knowledge resources and (5) Needed data, information, and knowledge. Finally, a modified and comprehensive model is suggested to implement in organizations." @default.
