La educacion musical que reciben debe abordar una autentica sensibilizacion hacia todo tipo de musica, preparandolos para poder elegir libremente y con criterio sus preferencias musicales, contribuyendo asi a que adquieran una verdadera formacion integral, finalidad ultima de la educacion. Los objetivos de la investigacion responden al interes de los autores por conocer, por una parte, la utilizacion que los profesores hacen de la audicion musical en sus clases, los planteamientos metodologicos, las estrategias didacticas que utilizan y el repertorio que proponen y, por otra, el uso que hacen del libro de texto asi como los criterios que adoptan para su eleccion entre las distintas posibilidades editoriales, con el fin de conocer mejor la realidad de la educacion auditiva que se esta llevando a cabo actualmente en este contexto educativo. Se ha llevado a cabo un estudio exploratorio ex post facto que utiliza el metodo encuesta mediante la utilizacion de un cuestionario elaborado ex profeso para tal fin. Dicho cuestionario se compone de las pertinentes variables de clasificacion de la muestra, seguidas de dos dimensiones relativas a la educacion auditiva en la ensenanza secundaria y al tratamiento curricular dado a la audicion musical en los libros de texto. La poblacion de referencia para obtener la muestra la constituyen los profesores de musica que imparten docencia en la ensenanza secundaria en la provincia de Valencia. Se ha seguido una estrategia de complementacion, que combina metodos de orientacion cuantitativa - para describir las variables de interes y hacer las comparaciones necesarias- y metodos de orientacion cualitativa -para profundizar y completar la informacion cuantitativa obtenida-. La investigacion aporta una gran cantidad de informacion relevante para adecuar las estrategias didacticas a utilizar en la educacion auditiva, por lo que puede constituir la base para una investigacion posterior y de mayores dimensiones sobre la didactica de la audicion musical. Abstract Music is more present than ever in secondary education students’ lives. The music education they receive must raise a genuine awareness of all types of music, preparing them to choose their music preferences in a free and critical manner, helping them to acquire a true integral training, the ultimate goal of education. Research objectives respond to the authors’ interest to get to know, on the one hand, the use that teachers make of musical audition in class, methodological approaches, teaching strategies they use and the repertoire proposed and, on the other hand, their use of textbooks as well as the selection criteria adopted between different publishing possibilities, in order to better understand the reality of the auditory education currently underway in this educational context. They have carried out an exploratory ex post facto study using the survey method using a questionnaire specifically developed for this purpose. The questionnaire includes the relevant classification variables of the sample, followed by two dimensions related to auditory education in secondary education and the curricular treatment granted to musical audition in textbooks. The reference population for the shows is music teachers who teach in secondary education in the province of Valencia. They followed a complementary strategy, combining quantitative targeting methods to describe the variables of interest and make the comparisons required, and qualitative orientation methods to go in depth and complete the quantitative information obtained. The research provides a great amount of relevant information to adapt the didactic strategies suitable for auditory education, which could be the basis for a later and larger on musical audition teaching." @default.
