- W2799972521 abstract "In this thesis we designed and developed a cloud based platform which offers storage for data gathered by smart devices. Smart devices can include smartphones, the devices of the internet of things and many more. They are capable of generating a large amount of data in real time and it is a challenge to not only capture the data, but to also store it for a possible later analysis. It is also important that we have quick access times to the stored data. In this thesis we developed a loose-coupled platform that can offer distributed storage for the big data from the devices and also an option for querying that data. We also developed some IoT sensor applications that demonstrate efficient operability of our platform on heterogeneous data flows. At the end we tested the platform and plotted some of the data collected." @default.
