- W2800962664 abstract "In this paper, we propose a framework for remote identification and tracking of cattle movement for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) and Mobile Communications. The proposed framework can be implemented for tracking cattle movement at the village level and extended to the harsh terrain for recovering stolen animals in case of cattle rustling or theft. The system works by identifying and tracking the desired animal location and sending periodic location data at regular intervals to a database as well as availing the specific animal's current location on demand through the Internet and text messages. Finally, to demonstrate the efficiency of this algorithm, performance of the proposed solution is compared with state-of-the-art algorithms. The experimental results manifest better performance over delay, throughput, packet delivery ratio, energy consumption as well as for messages exchanged between sensor and actor nodes. Thus, the proposed model demonstrates improvements in QoS parameters." @default.
