- W280481760 abstract "The numerical simulation of the microstructural evolution was carried out in Cu-Ni-Fe alloys: Cu-48%at.Ni-8%at.Fe and Cu-46%at.Ni-4%at.Fe alloys after aging at 673, 723 and 773 K for different times. Likewise, the microstructural evolution for two alloys, Cu-48%at.Ni-8%at.Fe and Cu46%at.Ni-4%at.Fe aged at the same conditions, was followed experimentally using FIM, TEM and XRD. In general, the simulation results showed a good agreement with the experimental ones, It was confirmed that the phase decomposition took place spinodally, producing two phases: Cu-Ni rich and NiFe rich phases. The morphology and composition of the decomposed phases are in agreement with those observed experimentally and/or reported in the literature." @default.
