- W2808027973 abstract "This work is devoted to the research in quantum field dynamics for out of equilibrium systems with nonperturbatively large energy density. The main applications of the results are the ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions and the evolution of the early Universe. The large N limit is used to solve the dynamics of the lambda ((vec Phi)^2)^2 model. We find analytic solutions for several regimes. We show that the dynamics is characterized by decoherence phenomena, parametric resonances, spinodal instabilities and creation of out of equilibrium Goldstone bosons. We also analyze the correlation function evolution and we find a generalized scaling behavior (for broken symmetry). In the broken symmetry case the effective mass goes to zero asymptotically in the absence of external fields, while in their presence the asymptotic mass squared is of the order of the external field. We also study the quantum field dynamics in the FRW space-time selfconsistently. This allows to give a consistent quantum treatment for the inflaton field in chaotic inflation (opposite to the usual classical treatment). This novel treatment gives a microscopic justification of classical chaotic inflation. We find a class of initial quantum states (pure and mixed) leading to chaotic inflation and we provide a quantum generalization of the slow-roll condition." @default.
