- W2809099863 abstract "In recent years, organometal halide perovskite became the most popular material in the photovoltaic community, because of its remarkable properties that are very essential for solar cell operation. Within a short period of time the photovoltaic performance of perovskite solar cell (PSC) has been par with the existing solar cell, i.e., the silicon solar cell. Also the production cost of the PSC is very cheap when compared with other generation solar cells. Organic–inorganic perovskite has ambipolar property, so it can function as an absorber material as well as a charge transport layer. So, elimination of hole transport material from the device architecture gives a possibility to explore new interfaces in the solar cell and also, the unique structure of perovskite makes valuable benefits for future photovoltaic and optoelectronic applications by reducing the cost and improving the stability." @default.
