- W2810043655 abstract "This paper deals with the investigation of the thermal behavior of magnetic components within boost converter. Instead of that, the trend of interleaving is considered as an alternative for the improvement of the electrical and mechanical properties of boost converters. For that purpose, 1-phase, 2-phase, 3-phase and 4-phase interleaved converters are being mutually compared. Design of individual topologies was done, while magnetic component (boost) inductor was modified from the magnetic core size point of view. It is seen that interleaving has a beneficial impact from a temperature point of view because the visible reduction of the magnetic component together with the reduction of component temperature is visible. The main outcome of this paper is a review of the procedure, which will enable to optimize magnetic components within interleaved topologies in future works." @default.
