- W2851941294 abstract "Multinucleon transfer reactions were observed in the bombardment of $^{26}mathrm{Mg}$ targets with 85 and 87 MeV $^{18}mathrm{O}$ ion beams. Low yields of neutron deficient particles such as $^{11}mathrm{C}$, $^{13}mathrm{N}$, $^{14,15}mathrm{O}$, and $^{17}mathrm{F}$ were distinguished from stronger reaction groups using a $ensuremath{Delta}Eensuremath{-}E$ position sensitive ionization chamber in the focal plane of a quadrupole-dipole-dipole-dipole magnetic spectrograph. The investigation of the nuclear rearrangement reaction ($^{18}mathrm{O}$,$^{17}mathrm{F}$) determined a value of -5.653ifmmodepmelsetextpmfi{}0.055 MeV for the mass excess of $^{27}mathrm{Na}$ and indicated excited states at 0.80ifmmodepmelsetextpmfi{}0.10, 1.86ifmmodepmelsetextpmfi{}0.05,and 2.25ifmmodepmelsetextpmfi{}0.05 MeV. In the $^{26}mathrm{Mg}$($^{18}mathrm{O}$, $^{15}mathrm{O}$) reaction the transition to $^{29}mathrm{Mg}_{mathrm{g}.mathrm{s}.}$ was observed with a cross section of 700 nb/sr. The mass excess of $^{29}mathrm{Mg}$ was found to be -10.650ifmmodepmelsetextpmfi{}0.055 MeV. The $4n$-stripping reaction ($^{18}mathrm{O}$,$^{14}mathrm{O}$) on $^{26}mathrm{Mg}$ was observed with a cross section of 12 nb/sr and was tentatively assigned to the transition to $^{30}mathrm{Mg}_{mathrm{g}.mathrm{s}.}$. This yields a mass excess of -8.760ifmmodepmelsetextpmfi{}0.055 MeV for this new isotope.NUCLEAR REACTIONS $^{26}mathrm{Mg}$($^{18}mathrm{O}$,$^{17}mathrm{F}$), $E=87$ MeV, measured $Q$ value, $^{27}mathrm{Na}$ levels; $^{26}mathrm{Mg}$($^{18}mathrm{O}$,$^{15}mathrm{O}$), $E=85$ MeV, measured mass excess of $^{29}mathrm{Mg}$; $^{26}mathrm{Mg}$($^{18}mathrm{O}$,$^{14}mathrm{O}$), $E=87$ MeV, $Q$-value measurement, deduced mass excess of $^{30}mathrm{Mg}$.
