- W2884235475 abstract "OBSS (overlapping basic service set) interference management is a major issue for designing the next generation WLAN with the dense deployment. DSC (dynamic sensitivity control) was proposed to increase the multiple concurrent transmissions to increase throughput, but it would introduce more hidden terminal problems. In this paper, we explore FFR (fractional frequency reuse) to coordinate interference between neighboring BSSs (basic service set). We study how to apply FFR in the existing WLAN system, and present the user identification approach and sub-channel allocation method. Afterwards, based on NS3 simulator platform, we conducted extensive simulations to evaluate the performance of FFR-based interference coordination scheme in WLAN with dense deployment. Our simulation results show that our proposed interference coordination scheme not only can effectively improve system throughput, but also provides fairness for each user." @default.
