- W2886395915 abstract "Abstract The physical model of free convective thermal and concentration stratified non-Darcy porous square enclosure under combined MHD forces and cross-diffusion (Soret and Dufour) effects have been considered. The main aim of this study is to introduce heat/mass function to fully analyze and visualize the convection heat/mass transfer within the porous enclosure under the multiple interacting forces. The mathematical model satisfying the governing non-linear partial differential equations, Heat function and Mass function along with associated boundary conditions is solved by the Galerkin finite element method. Obtained results have been validated by comparing the streamline contours, isotherms, cumulative Nusselt number and cumulative Sherwood number with those available in literature and found to be in excellent agreement. The numerical simulations have been carried out for various parameters associated with the problem as: Grashof number (Gr*), Magnetic effect parameter (Mg), Thermal (ST) and Mass (SC) stratification, Buoyancy ratio (B), Rayleigh Number (Ra), Lewis number (Le), Soret (Sr) and Dufour (Df) numbers. The results are demonstrated graphically by heatlines and masslines to show the path of heat and mass fluxes in addition to streamlines, isotherms, iso-concentrations, cumulative heat and mass fluxes." @default.
