- W2886841621 abstract "The advantages of electric traction to increase the carrying capacity of the railway are emphasized. Railways are an important element of the transport system of the Republic of Belarus. The decisive factors that influence the economic feasibility and duration of electrification are: the availability of energy sources, the cost of electricity, the size and growth rate of transportation, the terrain. The purpose of electrification difference of the Belarusian railway in connection with the commissioning of the first stage of the Belarusian NPP in 2019 is shown. The expedition of introduction of electric traction is considered and the economically purposeful freight Turner of the transition to electric traction on one of the sections of the Belarusian railway is determined. The most significant factors that affect the amount of initial and subsequent capital investments in the electrification of the line and the influence of these factors on the dynamics of changes in operating costs were taken into account. The influence of electrification on the railway carrying capacity was studied. To determine the meters of operating costs, traction calculations were performed for diesel traction with diesel locomotives circulating on the site and for electric traction with electric locomotives expected to be used at different costs of diesel fuel and electricity. Are the methodology for determining economically viable turnover, in which the cost of transportation by electric traction is less than with diesel. It depends on the ratio of the cost of electricity and fuel to the traction of trains, the maintenance of infrastructure, operating costs of all organizations engaged in transportation. The economically expedient sizes of transportation of electric traction on different sections of the Belarusian railway are determined." @default.
