- W2890499565 abstract "Realization of the robot's running gaits has been studied in many ways. Spring loaded inverted pendulum (SLIP) model has been popularly used to realize stable running gaits. For the robot with series elastic actuators (SEAs), conventional control methods can't be applied directly because of the SEA mechanism. This paper explains the reason of difficulties of the SEA mechanism to apply conventional control methods, and a systematic method to realize the stable running gaits for the robots with SEAs is proposed. The validity of the proposed method is shown by numerical simulation results." @default.
