- W2890771752 abstract "The possible reasons for the low injectivity of wells in productive horizons, composed of carbonate rocks, are considered in the article. A suggestion is made to change the wettability of the reservoir rock due to a decrease in temperature depending on water pumping from the surface. The wettability of the core samples was determined in the laboratory as neutral with the advantage of hydrophilicity. When the investigated deposit was developed on a natural basis, its temperature practically did not change. The temperature of the injected water into the well with a depth of more than 4200 m differs from the reservoir, equal to 80 - 90 °C, and its injection leads to a decrease in the average temperature of the formation, which in turn leads to a decrease in the relative permeability for oil, an increase in the viscosity of paraffinic oil, oil filtration, increase in interfacial tension between fluids and hydrophobization of the rock surface. The main reason for the change in the wettability of the naturally hydrophilic surface is the oil composition, since all the components changing it are concentrated in the oil phase. Heavy oil components, sorbed on the surface of the rock, reduce the cross section of its thin pores and capillaries, and it has been established that oil filtration attenuation manifests the stronger, the smaller the radius of the pore channels. Therefore, this process is particularly significant in low-permeability zones of the deposit, which affects the injectivity of wells located in these zones. It is suggested to use gas or water and gas influence on productive layers, the latter being a priority, since gas can be absorbed or break through in heterogeneous carbonate strata." @default.
