- W2890813044 abstract "A novel family of structure-dependent integration methods is presented. It can have desired numerical properties, such as unconditional stability, second-order accuracy, explicit formulation and controllable numerical damping. In general, it is a one-step method and thus it will involve no distinct starting procedure in conducting time integration. In addition, it has no overshoot in a high frequency forced vibration response, which is often found in a structure-dependent integration method. As a result, it can possess a comparable performance as that of a conventional dissipative implicit method such as the well-known WBZ-alpha method while its computational efficiency is much better than for implicit methods due to the integration of unconditional stability and explicit formulation together." @default.
