- W2891654492 abstract "Objective Health education was carried out in primary schools to help pupils set up correct concepts of self-care from childhood.Methods Health Education Group of the Peace Ark hospital ship was organized to carry out health education to 1142 pupils in eight primary schools in five Afro-Asian countries.15 pupils were selected from each primary school.Totaled of 120 were taught to brush their teeth,protect eyesight and wash hands.Results Of them,102 pupils mastered the correct skills of brushing teeth,106 pupils mastered the method of protecting eyesight correctly,112 pupils mastered the method of washing hands.The teachers and pupils were satisfied with the health education provided by the Health Education Group of Chinese Navy.Conclusions Different from adults education,pupils' health education needs a vivid and direct mode.As medical aid system has initiated,we realize that carrying out health education to the children is needful and effective in the act of union.Key words: Health education ; Schools in Afro-Asian countries; Pupils" @default.
