It has been observed that the dimensional accuracy required for fabrication of PD by both AM and CM techniques is acceptable for dental applications. The CM technique is mainly relied on the ability and experience of the operator and undergoes number of steps, which involves extraordinarily intensified manual work. Whereas, AM technique is more efficient and thus reduces production time, have good repeatability. In this article two case studies, one with the master pattern for PD prepared via CM and second with master pattern prepared with fused deposition modelling (FDM) has been presented for the comparative analysis." @default.
