- W2893992512 abstract "Objective — to analyze the features of the lipid spectrum in the blood and skin of patients with psoriasis of autumn-winter, spring-summer and off-season (mixed) flow types and to determine the significance of lipid metabolism disorders in the pathogenesis of dermatosis.Materials and methods. Based on the analysis of literature sources and our own (clinical, biochemical, immunopathogistochemical) researches we systematized and described the features of lipid metabolism in patients with psoriasis of different seasonal types of flow.Results and discussion. Psoriasis is characterized by a chronic undulating course with alternating periods of exacerbations and remissions in different seasons of the year. In this case, taking into account the clinical exacerbation of the skin psoriasis process, the following seasonal types of dermatosis are distinguished: autumn-winter, spring-summer and off-season (mixed). Significant changes in the lipid metabolism of the blood and skin of patients with psoriasis during periods of clinical exacerbation are established, which contributes to the disruption of keratinization processes in skin areas affected by psoriatic rash. In this regard, the paper discusses the pathogenetic effects of lipid metabolism disorders in the blood and skin of patients with psoriasis of autumn-winter and spring-summer types on the development of exacerbations of the skin psoriasis process in different seasons of the year. Attention is focused on the need for indepth study of changes in lipid spectrum indexes in skin areas affected by psoriatic rash and intact areas, as well as factors influencing these changes in patients with psoriasis of autumn-winter, springsummer and off-season types in comparison with changes in relevant indicators in the skin and blood of practically healthy people. The elucidation of the specific features of the lipid spectrum in the skin and blood of patients with psoriasis of different seasonal flow types is important for rational individualized correction of therapy of this dermatosis. Conclusions. Violation of lipid metabolism in the body in combination with genetic, autoimmune and a number of other factors is considered one of the weighty mechanisms against which psoriasis can arise. A significant role in the pathogenesis of psoriasis is attributed to the disturbance of mitotic activity and the processes of differentiation of epidermal cells of the skin, as well as the state of cell membranes and membrane-destabilizing factors. It is proved that the anomaly of cell membranes in psoriasis is caused by imbalance of membrane lipids. At the same time, the researches concerning an imbalance of indicators of spectrum of lipids in blood and skin of patients with psoriasis are inconsistent. Given the chronic, undulating course of psoriasis with the alternation of periods of clinical exacerbations and remissions in different seasons of the year, it is advisable to deepen the immunohistochemical study of the level of lipid spectrum in the layers of skin in areas affected by psoriatic rash and in intact parts of the skin of patients with autumn-winter, spring-summer and off-season types of dermatosis in different seasons of the year. It is also important to establish a possible correlation between the lipid spectrum indices in the skin and blood of patients with psoriasis of autumn-winter, spring-summer and off-season types and the severity of the skin psoriasis process. The study of the characteristic features of lipid metabolism is important for the development of tactics of optimized therapy of patients with psoriasis of autumn-winter, spring-summer and off-season types." @default.
