- W2894690789 abstract "Biological feedback mechanisms are commonly used in sports and rehabilitation for the purpose of increasing motivation and performance of the athletes/ patients through tactile, audial and visual feedback in real-time. Biological feedback methods favor motor learning by improving motor control in static and dynamic tasks by augmenting motor information that makes it a helpful tool for improving balance, motor control and performance during training. This study aimed exploring the quantification of heart rate optimization via heart rate sensor as well as knee joint range of motion and center of mass during running on treadmill at self-selected pace with and without biological feedback using XSENS MVN (Xsens Technologies BV (Netherlands ®)) wearable 3D motion analysis system. POLAR H10 (Polar, USA) sensor was used to monitor heart rate simultaneously. Therefore, the biological feedback mechanisms used in this investigation not only improved the benefits of the training on treadmill by altering motivation but also explored the advantages of using biological feedback in improving balance and motor control. The data obtained from 10 healthy, unprofessional young participants. The results showed that biological feedback assisted the participants in obtaining more symmetrical, balanced and sustainable training." @default.
