- W2894819749 abstract "Abstract A recurring obstacle encountered during welding which dictates the weld quality is the management of input process restrictions. Thorough selection of input welding restrictions is fundamental to subsequently optimize weld junctions and further enhance the productivity and quality of the process. This paper briefly emphasizes on the different types of welding joints. Moreover, the influence of different process parameters like the voltage applied, current, speed of welding have been extensively studied and the various response outputs obtained based on fatigue stress, microstructure and related properties etc. has been critically assessed. Metal inert gas (MIG) welding on similar as well as dissimilar metals have been properly studied and the various changes arising from welding techniques have been assessed. MIG welding has wide applicability in different sectors such as automobile, aerospace and various other industries. Defects such as corrosion behavior of different welds have been reviewed. Herein, the experimental studies reviewed have exhibited the optimized conditions for different weld materials" @default.
