From previous studies, it has been shown that by introducing a load angle, the energy absorption decreases drastically compared to axial loading. The main objectives of the present investigation were to study the effect of introducing corrugation on the buckling load, the effectiveness of these structures impedes under oblique loading conditions. The angle of inclination was increased from 00 to 210. Numerical simulations on ANSYS 15.0 are carried out to study the effect of geometric parameters such as pitch, amplitude, mean diameter, thickness, and frequency of corrugation have been varied and tested accordingly under the set of stated loading conditions. The primary outcome of this study is to provide information about the buckling behavior and critical load of corrugated tubes." @default.
