- W2895962819 abstract "The increasing evolution of devices that realize the sensing and performance in an urban environment has been increasing the number of resources and services directed to intelligent transport systems. The information captured by these devices can be used for various services in which they can bring greater comfort, safety, and entertainment to the passengers and drivers of the vehicle. However, the great challenge lies in the abstraction and contextualization of this information. Thus, with the objective of developing a system in which contextualizes the state of the tracks to monitor and generate the school vans' wheels to bring greater comfort to parents and schools. Therefore, in this work, we propose the development of a system of monitoring school vans as well as the suggestion of new routes according to road traffic conditions. The system uses location information of the vans as well as traffic information stored in a web service and subsequently made available to any device, either a mobile device (smartphone) or a desktop. Some tests were performed in the proposed system in which it presented a battery consumption of approximately 1.4% when using wifi and 1.2% when using the 4G, with a flow of 1.5 Mbps when using the wif and 40.5 Kbps when using the 4G." @default.
