- W2896931203 abstract "A EOS-GE model has been developed for the prediction of solid-liquid-vapor equilibira in highly asymmetric paraffinic systems. In this work, the fluid phases (vapor and liquid) are described by the EOS-GE model in which the volume translated PR EOS is adopted coupled with the LCVM mixing rule and a nonlinear calculation of the segment fractions for γC in UNIFAC is introduced to consider the high asymmetry in tested systems. For solid phase, the non-ideality is represented by the IRSW model for the complete physical significance of gE in solid phase (Yang et al. Fluid Phase Equilibria 427 (2016) 504–512) and by the Poynting factor for the pressure effects. To validate the established EOS-GE model, several binary, ternary and quaternary systems as well as multiple systems are investigated. The calculation results show great concord with the experimental WATs (wax appearance temperature) and bubble points." @default.
