- W2897664619 abstract "In this work, a comparative study of two parameter extraction methods: an iterative method based on Newton Raphson algorithm and an analytical method based on Lambert W function is presented. They are also tested on ST40 thin film photovoltaic (PV) panel. For both methods, five enhanced mathematical models are implemented to extract the parameters of this PV panel under varying environmental conditions. In order to validate the accuracy of the five models, the results of the models' simulation are compared with the measured data using the RMSE and AE. Then, the results of both methods are evaluated so as to ascertain which of them are more accurate. The results reported in this paper confirm that the models' simulation shows good agreement with the measured data. It is found that the analytical method with all five models is the most suitable for the thin film panel." @default.
