- W2897816449 abstract "Three-dimensional (3D) shape reconstruction using coded structured light is considered one of the most reliable techniques to recover object surfaces. This paper aims to address problem of finding correspondences in a structured-light 3D shape reconstruction system. Existing technique (under M-array Image Decoding) applies exhaustive brute force algorithm, which suffers from slow processing and tends to reject valid symbols during its decoding. We propose a novel method based on local dynamic window to effectively address the key correspondence problem in the presence of occlusion. The dynamic window can adapt by taking into account local information in challenging areas of edges, corners and occlusion-induced discontinuity to improve decoding accuracy. Compared with existing approaches, the proposed technique enables imaging and reconstructing object shapes with conventional hardware at higher resolution." @default.
