- W2897874637 abstract "The transient and steady-state stability of a single-machine infinite-bus (SMIB) power system is considered with the fluctuation of SMIB's electric power, which is modeled as a sinusoidal disturbance. By taking the power-angle and angular velocity as the main states from Park's equations for a synchronous generator, an output regulation design framework for power angle based on internal model controller is proposed to reject the disturbance of electric power and stabilize the power system. The control scheme requires less feedback signals and achieves stabilization of SMIB subjected continuous disturbance with a wider range of the system's operating conditions, which is essentially important for the stability of the large-scale multi-machines connected grid. The results of simulation at Matlab verify the effectiveness of the controller presented in the manuscript." @default.
