- W2897875410 abstract "This paper is devoted to a new model for state calculation in the Smart Grid with using the information from energy meters located in the grid nodes. Compared to the classical model with voltage magnitudes and angles in the state vector, authors propose a power-energy model with power or energy flows and voltage magnitudes in its calculation vector. The state equations of this model consist of nodal and linear balances of active and reactive power or energy based on the first Kirchhoff’s law and can be expanded by means of using equations for Ohm’s law. It is possible to receive the mathematical representation of the branches with zero resistances in the power-energy model march easily. Furthermore, the procedure of grid reduction is performed with deleting unobservable branches without breaking initial grid topology. All this is possible due to angle obscene in the calculation vector of power-energy model. These advantages of the new power-energy model and its better matrix condition as compared to the classical model are shown in a simple test case. This model may be used in the SCADA for Smart-Grid with the radial and closed-loop electrical schemes and for the nodal objects likes substations." @default.
