Se determinaron las abundancias relativas de todas las especies de aves detectadas, el endemismo, localizacion de especies amenazadas y gremios troficos. Se registraron un total de 74 especies. Los habitats con mayor riqueza fueron el pinar de Cupeyal del Norte con 57 especies, el bosque siempreverde de Piedra la Vela con 52 especies, el charrascal de Cupeyal del Norte con 43 y el pinar-charrascal de Piedra la Vela con 42 especies.  Los resultados obtenidos indican la importancia del Parque Alejandro de Humboldt por la diversidad de especies de aves, su abundancia relativamente alta y como refugio de especies endemicas y amenazadas por tipo de vegetacion. Palabras clave: aves, distribucion, abundancia, parcelas circulares, ecologia. Abstract: DIVERSITY AND ABUNDANCE OF BIRD´S COMMUNITIES IN DIFFERENT VEGETATION TYPES OR ALEJANDRO DE HUMBOLDT PARK. Ornithological research in protected areas is of great importance to know the value of these areas, the state of the populations of this faunal group and be able to adopt measures for their conservation. The objective of this work is to contribute to the knowledge about the diversity and abundance of the bird communities of Alejandro de Humboldt Park located in the mountainous Sagua-Baracoa region. Several methods were applied to enrich the inventory: counts of circular plots in different types of vegetation, capture with ornithological networks and acoustic reclamation. The relative abundances of all detected bird species, endemism, location of threatened species and trophic guilds were determined. A total of 74 species were recorded. The habitats with the greatest riches were the pine forest in Cupeyal del Norte with 57 species, evergreen forest in Piedra la Vela with 52 species, charrascal in Cupeyal del Norte with 43 and the pine-charrascal in Piedra la Vela with 42 species. The results obtained indicate the importance of Alejandro de Humboldt Park due to the diversity of bird species, its relatively high abundance and as a refuge for endemic and threatened species by type of vegetation.
