- W2901032961 abstract "India has pushed its goal of achieving sustainable development by making Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) spend mandatory for a particular category of companies as per the Companies Act, 2013. The social mandate has attached more importance to the implementation of CSR and the future of CSR depends on the attitudes of Management students who are future managers. The Orientation of these future managers will determine the practical implementation of CSR activities. Present paper is aimed at studying Orientation of management Students towards CSR and finding differences in Orientation of management students Marketing stream and Finance stream towards CSR. The study was conducted on a sample of 600 students of Master of Business Administration (MBA) program selected for the study in two groups of 300 students each of marketing stream and Finance stream. The findings indicate that Orientation of total group of management students is highest towards the Legal component. The results showed statistically significant differences in Orientation of management students of marketing stream and Finance stream towards CSR in regard to Economic, Ethical and Discretionary components. Orientation of marketing stream of management students is highest towards the economic component and finance stream of management students have shown highest orientation towards the legal component." @default.
