The coating agents are generally composed of pesticide, bactericide, micro-fertilizer, plant growth regulator etc. in seeds and the objective of coating is to protect the seed from fungal and insect, supply of micro- and macronutrients, supply of growth regulators, attraction of moisture, supply of oxygen, Increase and stimulation of germination, enhance seedling growth germination delay and increase in seed weight or size. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of sugar beet seed (Beta vulgaris) coating with fertilizers containing nutrients and growth stimulators of TEPROSYN, KADOSTIM and ZAGROOT on the germination and seedling growth characteristics was conducted as factorial in a completely randomized design with three replications in 2015 at the the Faculty of Agronomy and Natural Resources of Mohaghegh Ardebil University under laboratory and greenhouse conditions. Sugar beet hybrid seeds (Shekofa-Pars) and seed coating with various amounts of fertilizers containing nutrients and growth stimulators TEPROSYN (12.5, 25 and 37.5cc/kg seed), KADOSTIM (12.62, 25.24 and 37.87cc/kg of seed) and ZAGROOT (10, 20 and 30cc/kg of seed), which contains 9 treatments, were treated with a control (no cover-up) were the experimental factors. The results of analysis of variance showed that seed coating had a significant effect on germination percentage, speed and uniformity, and the results of the comparison showed that the sugar beet seed coating with ZAGROOT increased the measured traits. So that the seed coating with Zagrate in the amount of 20cc/kg seed with an average of 87% germination was the most germination percentage compared to other treatments. The results of the comparison showed that germination percentage in washed seeds was 6% higher than non-washed seeds. The results of greenhouse experiments showed that Pars hybrid seed coating with TEPROSYN (12.5 cc / kg seed) with average 0.054 grams had the highest seedling dry weight than other treatments. The average dry weight of seedling for control treatment and hybrids of Pars and Shekofa was 0.040 and 0.029 grams respectively. In this research, the application of nutrients content, along with the washing of Hybrids of Pars seeds, improved the components of germination and early growth of sugar beet.Keywords: seed coating, germination, nutrient, sugar beet." @default.
