- W2902227550 abstract "Moluscos fosseis na Bacia Sedimentar do Araripe sao relatados desde a decada de 1960, com bivalvios presentes nas formacoes Crato, Romualdo e gastropodos, restritos a Formacao Romualdo. A identificacao e descricao desses moluscos tem auxiliado na reconstituicao paleoambiental da Formacao Romualdo (Aptiano-Albiano) e na interpretacao da rota de incursao marinha que aponta para influencia do mar de Tetis na bacia. Este trabalho, descreve e ilustra fosseis coletados nas localidades de Ze Gomes, Cedro/ Tabuleiro e Santo Antonio municipio de Exu, Pernambuco, pontuando a paleoecologia e a distribuicao paleogeografica dos generos, alem de observar as afinidades faunisticas entre as formacoe Romualdo e Riachuelo. Essa analise resultou na identificacao de bivalvios da Familia Veneridae - Eocallista sp. e Eocallista sp. 2. . e, gastropodos, das familias Trochidae - Calliostoma sp., Akeridae - Akera sp. e, Acteonidae – Acteon sp.. A distribuicao paleogeografica dos generos demonstrou congruencia com o corredor tetiano, estando os especimes dentro dos limites de influencia do Mar de Tetis, reafirmando a presenca deste mar na Bacia do Araripe. A paleoecologia demonstrou afinidade com os ambientes ja identificados para a Formacao Romualdo, no qual as associacoes se encontram dentro de um ambiente lagunar a marinho restrito. A presenca desses generos amplia a afinidade faunistica entre as bacias do Araripe (Formacao Romualdo) e Sergipe (Formacao Riachuelo), demonstrando que provavelmente devido as caracteristicas eustaticas apresentadas no Albiano, existia uma ligacao entre essas bacias, permitindo nao so o intercâmbio de elementos tetianos, mas tambem de especies relacionadas ao Atlântico Sul ja dominante na Bacia de Sergipe." @default.
