In so doing, Fe3O4/SiO2/Thermosensitive/PAMAM-CS nanoparticles characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), dynamic light scattering (DLS), vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM) and zeta potential analysis. The prepared Fe3O4/SiO2/Thermosensitive/PAMAM-CS nanoparticles used as an adsorbent for the removal of tamoxifen from aqueous solutions. The effects of adsorption process parameters such as pH, contact time, adsorbent dosage, temperature, and initial tamoxifen concentration also investigated. Moreover, the adsorption of tamoxifen studied from both kinetics and equilibrium points of view. Based on the results, the maximum adsorption capacities of tamoxifen on Fe3O4/SiO2/Thermosensitive/PAMAM-CS nanoparticles were found to be 20.5 mg g−1." @default.
