To be informed of developments in one's own field of activity is essential. Because scientific, technical, technological and technico-economic data are continuously evolving. It is of utmost importance to watch tendencies, to detect changing trends, to forecast possible synergies ; in short to be ever ready to anticipate and to innovate. The aim of Competitive Intelligence is to generate actions. It is not an information storage or research system and it goes beyond the fact of managing data. Competitive Intelligence lead s to analysing situations because its final goal is action. It lead s to enhancing strong and weak points and thus permits to give added values to information at hand. Nevertheless, the ever increasing bulk of information can no longer be manually handed. Considering this fact, the C.R.R.M. decided to join with Resoudre Company in order to devise a software which would be fully adapted to Competitive Intelligence : that is VIGILANCE®. VIGILANCE® is a modelling software and is based on RWOC. It allows to carry out electronically the Competitive Intelligence process : meaning elaboration and consultation of G.I.F. (General Information Folder) constitution of S.I.F. (Strategic Information Folder) pointing out correspondence relating various information and synthetizing. This tool allows to optimize information and use it in action (treatment and circulation). It will allow all parties concerned to be in possession of the right information at the right moment to be used in the best possible way for each of them." @default.
