- W2904705372 abstract "Abstract A rich, longitudinal data set was collected on six stormwater control measures (SCMs) in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. Detailed inflows, pool level, and outflows were measured over 57 rain events in a 3-year period. The hydrology data, together with the drainage characteristics, were included in a multiple linear regression (MLR) model after pretreatment with the Principal Component Analysis, which created scaled, normalized compound variables as inputs to the MLR. The models were calibrated and verified with field data, and then extrapolated to the entire 40 ha catchment containing 135 SCMs. This expanded model was compared to independent field data, and the stipulated stormwater removal target of 1135 m3 from a 36 mm storm. The model results indicated that the current SCM design was very conservative and had exceeded the performance expectations." @default.
