- W2904707005 abstract "Abstract The immobilization of powdery photocatalysts has always been a key technology for its practical application in waste‐water purification. In this study, we successfully prepared carbon cloth‐supported MoS 2 /Ag 2 S/Ag 3 PO 4 (CCMS‐AP) composite with high photocatalytic activity and good recyclable property for photodegradation of rhodamine B under visible light irradiation. The effects of immersion time of carbon cloth‐supported MoS 2 in AgNO 3 solution on the performance of the CCMS‐AP were investigated. The results show that the CCMS‐AP prepared with 6 h of immersion time exhibits the highest photocatalytic activity with a reaction rate constant of 42.9×10 −3 min −1 , which is 4.93 times higher than that of carbon cloth‐supported Ag 3 PO 4 . The direct Z‐scheme photocatalytic system is responsible for the efficient charge separation and strong oxidation ability of the composite. Moreover, the MoS 2 and carbon fibers provid high speed charge transfer channels for photo‐generated electrons, leading to lower recombination rate of electron‐hole pairs and higher photocatalytic performance of the composite photocatalyst. Our strategy can be extended to fabricate many other recyclable carbon cloth‐supported photocatalysts with high performance that shows promising potential applications in wastewater treatment." @default.
