- W2908052184 abstract "Synthetic test is the conventional method which testing performance and reliability of circuit breaker. HVDC circuit breaker with rapid fault clearing is an important equipment for protecting DC transmission system. Vacuum circuit breaker based on commutation principle has the low resistance loss and good insulation performance, which can break DC short-circuit current. The equivalence of AC synthetic test can test AC circuit breaker breaking performance. However, the rapid development of DC circuit breaker is limited by the equivalent of synthetic experiment. This paper analyzed the breaking process of DC circuit breaker, refered to the basic principle of AC synthetic test and parameters analysis, present and simulate a new synthetic test circuit topology of DC circuit breaker, a transient recovery voltage add into the conventional DC breaking synthesis test circuit, make up for the opening final relay overvoltage is equivalent to the overvoltage of DC short-circuit break system. Theoretical analysis of synthetic experiment process and comparative the equivalent relationship parameters. Transient recovery voltage equivalent methods to further improve the effectiveness of the synthetic test, provide support for the breaking ability of DC circuit breaker test." @default.
