- W2910361975 abstract "This article is based on the related theory of extraordinary optical transmission (EOT), which is composed by a metal-insulator-metal (MIM) by the process of opening an array of holes and embedding split ring resonators (SRR) structure. For the purpose of bringing the MIM composite EOT structure into the complex layer structure of microstrip antenna, we propose a novel high gain microstrip antenna. Using the HFSS simulation software to simulate and analyze the abnormal transmission characteristics of the structure, we found that added the MIM composite EOT structure on the antenna has made its gain raised by 4.6 dB when compared with the original microstrip antenna. What's more, $E$ -plane and $H$ -plane were reduced by half-power beam width of 24 degrees and 92 degrees respectively. According to the designed ideas to introduce a physical test, the results of physical testing are in good agreement with the simulation results. This designed method has provided us a new train of thought to study the novel high gain antenna. Besides, it has also high research value." @default.
