- W2911384436 abstract "An exposure test in a natural tidal environment was conducted to measure the gas permeability coefficient and micro-structural parameters of concrete at different ages. The time-dependent micro-structural parameters and gas permeability coefficient of test concrete and their correlation have been analyzed. Besides, an indicator of age reduction factor (mg) has been proposed to investigate the decreasing of gas permeability over time. Results indicate that, the total porosity and gas permeability of test concrete both decrease with time. There is a positive linear correlation between gas permeability coefficient and total porosity (R2 = 0.872) as well as contributive porosity. Moreover, the correlation coefficient of gas permeability coefficient fitting by two micro-structural parameters (porosity and contributive porosity of pore size within 100–1000 nm) is higher than that by using a single micro-structural parameter, which can provide a more accurate basis for predicting gas permeability coefficient of concrete." @default.
