- W2911946098 abstract "The structure of Pt(II) complex in the case of chemical and anodic dissolution of platinum in the CO(NH2)2 and CO(NH2)2 – 16 mol% NH4X (X = Cl, Br, F) melts at 120–140°C has been established using electronic absorption spectroscopy and IR spectroscopy. It has been found that ammonia complexes [Pt(NH3)4]2+ of D4h symmetry are formed in the melts under investigation on the chemical dissolution of the (NH4)2[PtCl4] salt. During the anodic dissolution of platinum in a carbamide-fluoride melt, [Pt(NH3)4]2+ complexes are formed, and during that in a carbamide-chloride (bromide) melt, [Pt(NH3)Cl3]− and [Pt(NH3)Br3]− of D2d symmetry are formed, which are involved in the cathodic deposition of platinum from the melts." @default.
