- W2912444750 abstract "The effect of SrO-B2O3-SiO2 (SBS) glass addition into CaCu3Ti4O12 (CCTO) on the dielectric properties and wideband frequency of CCTO-glass composites was studied. CCTO ceramics and SBS glass were prepared via solid state mixing method. The raw materials of CCTO were wet mixed for 24 hours and dried overnight in an oven. CCTO mixtures were calcined at 900 °C for 12 hours. The calcined powders were compacted at 250 MPa and sintered at 1040 °C for 10 hours. The raw materials of SBS glass also were wet mixed for 24 hours and was dried overnight in oven. SBS glass mixture then was melted in alumina crucible using glass melting furnace at 1250 °C for 2 hours. The molten glass was manually poured into distilled water and the glass frits then were ball milled to form a fine glass powders. The glass powders were mixed with CCTO’s calcined powders for 24 hours. X-ray diffractometer (XRD) analysis showed the formation of CCTO phase and minor secondary phase of CuO were obtained by each sample. The dielectric constant, εr of CCTO was increased while the dielectric loss, tan δ of CCTO was decreased with small addition of SBS glass. The resonance frequency of CCTO was moved to lower frequency with increasing of glass addition until 0.05 wt.%, but it shifted to higher frequency with increasing of glass addition up until 1 wt.%." @default.
