- W2912559924 abstract "Abstract The first new carboxylate complex [Cu4(SMIA)6(phen)4](ClO4)2 (1) (SMIA− = Syn-2-Methoxyimino-2-(2-Furyl)-Acetate, phen = phenanthroline) with a rarely puckered-belt tetranuclear skeleton has been synthesized and characterized by EA, FT-IR, UV and X-ray crystallography. Complex 1 is consists of two independent binuclear copper units Cu2(SMIA)3(phen)2 with two different coordination geometric Cu2+ centers bridged by two tridentate carboxylates. The π-π stacking force and C H⋯O hydrogen bonds are involved in the formation of weak intermolecular forces. Studies on the direct-current (dc) and alternating-current (ac) magnetic susceptibilities of 1 demonstrate that the magnetic coupling interactions between Cu2+ centers are overall antiferromagnetic and the compound has the spin glassy behavior. Under the UV light irradiation, the title complex displays high photocatalytic activity for the degradation of methyl orange (MO) and rhodamine B (RB), which is the simulants of organic pollutants in water." @default.
