En el desarrollo del articulo se detalla como la cartografia y las historias de vida se centran en la informacion de los contextos mas locales, y mas alla de registrar percepciones, buscan moldear la manera en la que los fenomenos sociales son comprendidos e interpretados. A su vez, posibilitan transformar lo social desde las relaciones dadas entre lo colectivo y lo personal, teniendo en cuenta los lenguajes y referentes propios del objeto de estudio, sin dejar de lado al investigador en la construccion de datos.Palabras clave: Cartografia; Historias de vida; Construccion de lo Social; Reflexividad. Research methods: between the reflexivity and the construction of the social Abstract: This article presents the research methods as devices of recovery and construction of social knowledge, to be related to the life of the individuals and their environment. In the development of the article is detailed how the cartography and life stories focus on the information of the most local contexts, and beyond registering perceptions, they think about how to mold the way in which the social phenomena are understood and interpreted. In turn, they make possible to transform the social thing from the relations given between the collective and personal terms, bearing in mind the languages and proper modality of the object of study, without leaving aside the researcher in the data construction. Os metodos de pesquisa: entre a reflexividade e a construcao do social Resumo: Neste artigo sao apresentados os metodos de pesquisa como dispositivos de recuperacao e construcao do saber social, ao estarem relacionados com a vida dos sujeitos e seu entorno. Ao longo do texto se detalha como a cartografia social e as historias de vida se centram na informacao dos contextos mais locais, e alem de registrar percepcoes, buscam moldar a forma nas quais os fenomenos sociais sao compreendidos e interpretados.
