- W2912853841 abstract "In this research, micro-nano silica-silica nano-composite thin film was deposited on glass substrate by a sol-gel method. Then, the surface modification was performed by use of PFTS solution. The thin films were characterized by FTIR, EDS, FESEM, UV-Vis spectroscopy and water angle analyzer methods. Durability test was performed to check the resistivity of the thin film against environmental conditions. To study of UV-resistance, the modified thin film located under UV-irradiation for definitive period of times. Results indicated that average transmission at visible region (rang of wavelength 380–760 nm) increased from 90.2% for uncoated glass to 90.75% for coated glass. Also water contact angle measurement results showed that WCA of the modified thin film in comparison with uncoated glass increased from 73° to 113°. Moreover based on durability tests and UV-irradiation, stability of the modified thin film for practical application was acceptable." @default.
