- W2912936028 abstract "At present, there are many opinions as to whether the myom-heart is the name of a disease or of a symptom complex, and many hypothesis as for the pathogenicity. But many authors approved that the many myom patients suffered from the cardiac disorder. Prof. Dr. Maekawa predicted, from his own new theory on allergy, that this cardiac disorder of the myom patient is due to the specific allergic myocarditis. I attempted to verify this prediction. and studied clinically and experimentally this problem of the Myom-heart. I tried the precipitation-reactin between the eu globulin of 464 patients' sera and the myom-phosphatide which was extracted from the myom tissue. Results as follows. All 15 myom-patients' sera showed positiv, but the sera of many other patients suffering from the cardiac symptom showed also positiv. Especially, the sera of the patients who were found the myocardial damage by electrocardiographic finding or Cor Phosphatide Reaction (CPR) established by Araki, also showed positiv at very high rate. These results showed that the myom-phosphatide has partly an affinity to the heart as the cross-reaction of CPR. Then it seems probable that the myom-heart is a specipic allergic myocarditis which is caused by the myom-phosphatide." @default.
