- W2913065648 abstract "Within the vibrational spectroscopy techniques, Raman scattering is certainly one of the most powerful techniques to investigate organic systems, in particular when the interactions between the organic framework and water have a key role in determining the structural and dynamical behavior of a molecule. This is clearly the case of cyclodextrin-based nanosponges, where the analysis of Raman spectra, in particular the resonant Raman ones, allows to extract important information about the influence of water in their structural conformation is discussed. To understand how the vibrational spectroscopes allow to infer the chemical and structural conformation of a certain molecule, it is fundamental to know the physical mechanisms involved in the molecular atomic vibrations. On a Raman experiment, with a careful control of the polarization of exciting radiation on the sample and of the diffused one, it is possible to get additive information about the structural conformation and the dynamical behavior of the system analyzed." @default.
