- W2913303478 abstract "Cisplatin was used to increase the radiation sensitivity of human gastric adenocarcinoma M_(85) cells in vitro. For aerobic M_(85) cells，cisplatin before irradiation gave an enhancement ratio of 1.19.The influence of cisplatiri on the radiation-induced DNA double-strand break (dsb)and repair was measured by neutral filter elution. The results showed that DNA cross-link caused by l#mu#g/ml cisplatin had little influence on the DNA dsb elution ratio. With cells unexposured to the drug，the DNA dsb repair would follow a diphasic kinetics，the fast and slow components. The fast component was completed within about 10 minutes and the duration of 50% DNA dsb repair was 5 minutes. The cells treated by cisplatin were obviously impaired in their repair capacity for radiation-induced DNA dsb. The fast component repair disappeared and the duration of half dsb repair was longer than 60 minutes. The results here indicate that cisplatin probably sensitizes through the inhibition of DNA dsb repair." @default.
