The expressions of sensitivity and FoM for changes in geometric parameters of surface nanostructures are derived to establish the relationship between sensor detection performance parameters and enabling biosensor design of nanoparticles with optimum detection performance. The sensitivity of the proposed biosensor is improved using two methods. First, the layers of graphene are covered with nanoparticles, which have been discussed and, it has proved that the sensitivity can be improved. Second, the influence's angle of incidence of the wave excited the network on the sensitivity. Finally, the improvement of the sensitivity and the FoM using the structure is revealed in these two methods. The maximum sensitivity ∼505.47 nm/RIU is obtained with coating of graphene layers and angle of incidence oblique to the surface." @default.
