- W2914659475 abstract "TiO2 dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) were fabricated using TiO2 photoanodes and dyes extracts of Morus Nigra L. sp. (MN, mulberries fruit), Clitoria ternatea sp. (CT, blue pea flower), and Melastoma malabathricum L. sp. (MM, senduduk leaf) which act as natural sensitizers. From the conductivity analysis, MN and CT could conduct 0.4 V and 0.14 V, respectively and the highest value, 0.72 V was recorded from MM. From these results, it demonstrates the capable of extracted dyes to convert sunlight into electricity. Meanwhile, UV-Vis absorption data revealed the existence of pigments from MN and CT are carotenoids and chlorophyll. From FTIR analysis, all dyes showed the existence of H bond, C=O bond and C-O-C bond and XRD spectra indicated the films is in amorphous structure. The use of natural dyes as photo-sensitizers in solar cell is promising approach in solar technology because of low-cost and comparable solar performance.TiO2 dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) were fabricated using TiO2 photoanodes and dyes extracts of Morus Nigra L. sp.
