Keruntuhan bendungan yang sering terjadi dikarenakan overtopping dan piping , maka diperlukan analisa keruntuhan bendungan ( Dam Break Analysis) dan simulasi keruntuhan bendungan ( Dam Break Simulation) . Analisa dan simulasi keruntuhan bendungan adalah bentuk dari pencegahan-pencegahan secara teknis dan politis, dimana tertulis didalam peraturan dan undang-undang terikat oleh dokumen keamanan dokumen dan RTD bendungan. Lokasi studi analisa keruntuhan bendungan ini berada di Bendungan Ponre Ponre Kabupaten Bone Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan dengan menggunakan program Zhong Xing HY21 yang salah satunya dapat menghasilkan peta penyebaran genangan banjir dan selanjutnya dapat digunakan sebagai pedoman atau pegangan penetapan batasan potensi daerah terdampak bencana. Kondisi yang digunakan dalam program Zhong Xing HY21 adalah piping dengan kondisi muka air banjir dan Normal dikarenakan setelah menganalisa penelurusuran banjir melelui pelimpah hasilnya menyatakan Bendungan Ponre Ponre tidak mengalami overtopping . Sehingga dapat diketahui keruntuhan Bendungan Ponre Ponre dengan kondisi muka air banjir piping atas adalah kondisi terparah dengan luas genangan 40.8029 Km 2 dan total debit outflow puncak saat keruntuhan terjadi 141259.13662 m 3 /det. ABSTRACT: Besides being useful for fulfilling various needs for humans, but also dam has a dangerous potential, if the dam were broken. Dam break that often occurs due to overtopping and piping, because of that dam break analysis is needed and dam break simulation too. Analysis and simulation of dam break is a form of technical and political prevention, which is written in the regulations and laws bound by document security and RTD dam documents. The study location of the dam break analysis of this dam is Ponre Ponre Dam which is located in Bone District, South Sulawesi Province using the Zhong Xing HY21 programe, one of which can produces a map of the spread of flood inundation and then can be used as a guideline or setting boundaries for potential affected areas. The condition used in the Zhong Xing HY21 programe is piping with the condition of the flood water level and normal water level because after analyzed the flood routing through the spillway, the result is Ponre Ponre Dam does not have overtopping condition. Because of that it can be seen the dam break of the Ponre Ponre Dam with the condition of the upper piping flood water level is the worst condition with an inundation flood area of 40,8029 km 2 and the peak total outflow discharge occurs is 141259.13662 m 3 /sec." @default.
